Please note the following:
- Workshop, 10 December 2020, 4 – 6 PM, Virginia 2019 World Language Teacher of the Year, Amy Petersen, “Personalize for Engagement.” There is still time to register. Invite a friend, colleague, in-service student, new teacher. Let’s take over the Internet and make it standing room only!
- Deadline for viewing on SCHED pre-recorded and recorded live sessions of FLAVA Fall 2020 Virtual Conference is 11:59 PM, 31 December 2020. In other words, you only have 25 days left to view those sessions you missed (or re-view those sessions you liked) as a registered conference participant. Take advantage of this opportunity. What a great way to bring in the new year!
- Call for Proposals, FLAVA Spring 2021 Virtual Conference, “Languages: Beyond Boundaries.” The deadline for proposal submission is 05 January 2021. Presenting in the spring can only enhance your professional development and leadership roles. I would really like to see representation from all languages taught in the Commonwealth!
