02 Nov French Position – Emory & Henry College
The World Languages Department at Emory & Henry College invites applications for an adjunct position in Introductory French 2 to begin in January 2023. The available position is to teach one section of French 102 in Spring 2023.
The course schedule is Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 12:00-12:50 pm EST and Thursday 1:30-2:50 pm EST. Applicants must be available to teach synchronously at these times. While we would prefer to have this course taught face-to-face on our campus, we understand that most likely this course will have to be taught remotely and that is also acceptable.
Qualifications

Masters or PhD in French

Native or near-native fluency in French and English required

College teaching experience in traditional classrooms is desirable and with online teaching experience preferred
Remuneration: This four-credit hour course is paid at $1000/credit hour ($4,000 per course). The classes meet for three 50-minute sessions plus one 80-minute lab per week during the day.
