As Organizational Members of ACTFL, I am delighted to share with you and your colleagues that we are currently accepting student applications for the 2021 Lead with Languages Teacher Scholarship Program.   Entering its third year, this program provides merit-based scholarships to graduating high school seniors who are committed to pursuing the language teaching profession in languages other than English. Scholars are awarded $1,500 per academic year (renewable for a cumulative total of $6,000 per recipient), as well as a one-year membership to ACTFL upon entering the profession. Ten Scholars representing a range of languages and home states were selected in both 2019 and 2020.   I invite you to learn more about the Program, including full eligibility requirements and updated submission procedures, on our Lead with Languages site.
