03 Dec EF Education First Professional Learning Opportunity for Teachers of ALL Languages – App Deadline 8 Dec
FLAVA and EF Education First are pleased to announce a unique professional learning opportunity for teachers of any and all world languages. Each year, EF Educational Tours offers a professional learning travel scholarship to educators working with grades 6-12 to travel to Berlin, Germany, and Davos, Switzerland, for a first-hand exploration of these fascinating cultures. (See the itinerary.) We are extending an invitation to you to apply to travel with this group of educational leaders. We feel the focus of FLAVA educators aligns so well with what this program will allow participants to experience in the country that we would love for you to apply.
The Experience (July 5-13, 2020):
This EF Professional Learning Tour combines the exploration of cultures in Germany and Switzerland with a weekend-long Global Leadership Summit. While on tour, you will expand your professional network as you travel to iconic sites with educators from across the U.S. The tour culminates in EF’s Global Leadership Summit, where you and approximately 1,000 high school students from around the country and the world will hear from world-renowned speakers, attend expert-led workshops, and rethink education’s role in tackling global issues. And through it all, you will have the option of earning professional learning credit.
(See www.eftours.com for details on EF’s student travel programs and to learn how schools in your district can get involved.)
