Long-Term Spanish Substitute Teacher, Jan-March 2026: Goochland High School
Goochland High School is seeking a long-term Spanish substitute for the beginning of next semester.
Courses: Six sections of Spanish: three classes and one planning period per day; alternating day schedule
Four sections are full of honors students of either level IV or ACA Spanish (grades 10–12)
Two sections are standard Spanish III (grades 10–11)
No freshmen this year
Support & Materials: All daily plans, activities, and materials will be organized and provided. Modules and digital items are pre-loaded on Canvas for easy access.
Optional Paid Training Days: Candidates may choose to come in during December (before winter break) to meet students and shadow the teacher for a smooth, fun introduction.
School Community: Goochland High School is a small, supportive school about 25 minutes west of Short Pump and 30 minutes west of Richmond. Our students are kind and mostly motivated!
Our three other Spanish teachers are welcoming and collaborative.
