FLAVA President’s Message – April 2023

Greetings, FLAVA Members!

I hope each of you are or will soon be enjoying your much deserved spring break!

SCOLT 2023 in Mobile, Alabama was absolutely incredible! It was so nice to see so many FLAVA members attending and presenting at SCOLT. Your FLAVA Executive Board members attended many amazing sessions, met with exhibitors, and attended the annual State Leader luncheon and workshop. We left Mobile with many ideas that we are excited to bring back to FLAVA!

Congratulations to Dr. Martha Davis who represented FLAVA so eloquently as our Teacher of Year nominee at SCOLT. We are extremely proud of Dr. Davis!

Congratulations to Shane Goodpasture who represented FLAVA so well at SCOLT with his Best of FLAVA session, Get Ready to Embark on “The Amazing Race”. Shane’s session was so awesome and made us proud to have Shane as a FLAVA member!
