French Long Term Substitute-King George Middle School

1. I should be on maternity leave from early/mid October until Winter break so approximately 10/10?-12/16. Obviously that might change a little depending on if the baby comes early or late but that’s my best approximation.

2. I teach middle school French at King George Middle School in King George, VA. I teach Introduction to French to 6th graders, French 1 to 7th/8th graders, and French 2 to 8th graders. French 1 & 2 count as high school credit. Intro is a semester-long class. French 1 & 2 are year long classes.

3. I teach using CI, TPRS (Look I Can Talk!), and Nous Sommes (Comprehensible Classroom) curriculum. I would be looking for someone ideally that could step into that role (with help and support obviously). We have a great Spanish teacher who can also help with planning and teaching methods.
