The Assessment and Evaluation Language Resource Center (AELRC) is hosting a one-day in-person workshop on rubric design for world language classroom-based performance assessments.

Participants will have opportunities to learn about fundamentals of rubric development and practice creating rubrics for their own contexts through a series of interactive workshop sessions. Facilitators will also guide participants through using Generative AI tools to produce rubric drafts based on the ACTFL Proficiency Guidelines. The $25 registration fee goes towards covering refreshments and meals. Light breakfast, coffee, and lunch are included. A certificate of participation for six clock hours of professional development will be provided.
