October President’s Message
Greetings, FLAVA Members!
I cannot wait to welcome you all to FLAVA 2023 in Norfolk, VA next week! The FLAVA Board and Conference Team are hard at work preparing for what is sure to be an amazing conference! If you have not registered, you have until this Thursday, October 5th to register online. Once online registration closes, you will only be able to register onsite from October 12 -14, 2023.
The Constitution/Bylaws Revision Committee proposes the following amendments for a formal vote at the FLAVA business meeting on Thursday, October 12th. To see the present governing documents, click here. Please note: strike throughs would be eliminated and the blue wording would be added. The red is the rationale for the suggested changes. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Sue Robertson, FLAVA Parliamentarian.
In addition, elections will be taking place via email during the conference for all current and lifetime FLAVA members. If you wish to participate in the election, please make sure your FLAVA membership is current by October 11.
