Spanish Teachers – Middle and High School Level

Frederick County Public Schools, VA is seeking Spanish teachers at both the middle and high school level. We are located in the Shenandoah Valley, just 65 miles west of Washington, D.C. FCPS is one of the fastest growing counties in Virginia serving nearly 14,000 students with 12 elementary, four middle, three high schools and two learning centers. Candidates must be eligible for, or hold, a Virginia teaching license with an endorsement in Spanish. Candidates must possess knowledge of content, curriculum, methods, and materials for Spanish instruction. Excellent human relations, interpersonal communications, organizational and planning skills are required. Must have the ability to recognize and respond to individual student differences. Must be able to work in a collaborative and cooperative manner with parents, school administrators and staff.

 

The salary range is $46,000 – $85,989 (salary scale 21-22). This position is effective starting for the 2021-2022 school year.
