14 Jun Registration Reminders for Fall Conference and ACTFL
Congratulations on another successful school year! Thanks for all you do for World Language programs and students, in and outside of the classroom. Here are two important registrations for consideration.

If you would like some innovative ideas for instruction, the fall FLAVA conference is October 3-5, 2019 at the DoubleTree Hotel in Williamsburg. FLAVA is excited to feature Akash Patel as our guest speaker.
The deadline for early bird registration is September 15, 2019.

Please remember that if you have an existing user account for the FLAVA website, you must login to successfully register with the account’s email address.

If you plan to attend the ACTFL conference in Washington, D.C. on November 22-24, 2019, you can receive a discount on your registration for being a member of FLAVA. You are considered a FLAVA member if you either:
a) attended last fall’s FLAVA conference, or
b) paid your FLAVA dues of $40 to cover this year (2018-2019),

c) registered for the 2019 FLAVA fall conference at the member rate

In order to take advantage of the ACTFL Early Bird Registration, you must have done a), b) or c) above by Sunday, June 30th at midnight.
The Treasurer’s upload of FLAVA’s current members will occur on Monday morning, July 1st. You will need to wait until Tuesday morning, July 2nd, to register for ACTFL if you will have done “b)” or “c)” between June 3rd and June 30th.
The Early Bird deadline for ACTFL registration is Wednesday, July 10. For more details about registering after the Early Bird deadline, refer to the FLAVA website:
